You've never seen what Star's eyes looked like when she sings, have you? (Neither have I...)

Well...back on her home planet...she's known as a siren. Her singing can entrance people and persuade them to her favor, just like those mythical beings.
(That's partly why she hasn't been kicked out of the castle by now. XD )
And since sirens are typically associated with water, and Star's element is fire, she was known as the Siren of Fire. Because of this little ability, others were even more wary of her, making sure to never hear her sing.

Of course, after arriving on the Mushroom Planet, she naturally doesn't realize this power. XD

And as a trademark of the sirens on her planet, they have...white eyes! Normally, if Star wasn't a "siren", she would have orange eyes, but since she is...yeah. ^.^

Once again, another mystery solved!
