Wandering StarChild of Fire

'Tis Star again! ^.^
It took me FOREVER to fill in the background with shading and everything! >.< Well, at least it's FINALLY done!
I actually started this way before any other [official] drawing of her.

Anyway, you know how (for those of you whose played Yoshi's Island DS) future Kamek and Bowser kidnapped all of those babies looking for the seven "star children" or whatever? Well, that's where I first got the idea for Star!
She WAS gonna be one of those "star children" (well, at least just one of the kidnapped babies), but since that didn't work out too well (upon seeing the end of the game), I made up my own little society of ELEMENTAL "star children" (which isn't REALLY made up of just children, btw). XP

The members of this small society have the ability to control all the basic elements (obviously) to a certain extent. One of the elements, however, can be specialized in.
Star comes from the leading family of these "star children" and specializes in...FIRE, of course!
I WOULD reveal more, but...I'll wait to surprise you.

Star seems to look a bit older here than intended. O.o
ORIGINALLY, she was going to start out as a baby/toddler-aged girl, but eventually kept making her older and older until finally deciding that she'll be about 8 years old when she's first "discovered". ^w^
